2023年2月21日(火)に甲野善紀先生の講座を開かせていただくことになりました 先生に伺ったお話の内容を上手く表現することができず　申し訳なく思っていましたが、今回は先生が直々に案内文を作ってくださいました 講座では、甲野先生が昨年11月に気付かれた「普通のレベルから違う次元へと踏み込んだ世界に共通する、安易な協力によっては絶対実現できない原理」を武術の実技を通して体験していただけます。 この出会いが　今の世の中で起きていることをどう捉え　どう向き合っていくのか　そのヒントにもなるのではないかとおもっています ・・・・・・・・・・ 「明らかな協力は仇になる」 平田寺での講座に寄せて　甲野善紀 私が独自の武術研究の道に入って今年で４５年目となり、この２月６日で私も満７４歳になります。これだけ長い間、武術の研究をしてきましたが、その私がいま初心者になっています。それは昨年の１１月初めに私の武術の根幹となっている剣術の、その剣の使い方、つまり刀の操作法に関して何十年間も根本的に間違っていたことを痛感し、これまでは全く思いもかけなかった刀の使い方を何とか身につけようとしているからです。そして、その過程でいろいろな事を見えてきました。 今回、この思いもよらなかった基本の間違いに気付いた事から、現在「あたりまえ」「当然」「常識」と言われているものの中に、根本的な問題があるものがかなり含まれているのではないかという気がしています。何しろ私が１１月初めに得た気付きは、現代剣道等はもちろん、古流の剣術においても当然と思われている常識の否定ですから、今の私は武道・武術の世界で剣を稽古している人達の９９．９％の人々に向かってダメ出しをしているような事なのです。 それは、左右両手が助け合って木刀なり竹刀なりを使っているその事自体の否定だからです。つまり、「良かれと思って手伝っていること」そのものの否定なのです。この常識の否定がどれほど不可解で突拍子もないもののように見えたとしても、この事を否定して拓けた世界がどれほど思いもよらない働きのあることか！ これは禅の世界にも通じるものはあると思います。つまり、左右の手の協力を否定することは、同時にに普通のレベルの協力ではない異次元の協力への扉を開くものでもあるからです。 「顕と幽」とでも言うように、片手は実際にハッキリとわかる世界で働き、もう一方は陰といいますか、裏といいますか、無理に言葉にすれば「幽の世界から」とか「虚の活かし方」といったような、そこに在るけれども無い、そうした働きを拓くことになるからです。 そして、この事は気付いてみれば単に武術だけでなく、何かを作ったりする職人の世界でも、人と人とが協力して何かを成し遂げようとする様々な仕事においても、普通のレベルから違う次元へと踏み込んだ世界に共通する、安易な協力によっては絶対実現できない原理が見えてくるように思います。 この微妙な世界は何とも言葉になりにくいですが、武術の実技を通して体験していただけます。そして、その解説は思春期の娘を持った親が娘のためを思って、いろいろ世話をすることが裏目に出て、娘との関係がギクシャクしてしまう事をどうしたらいいか、といった例を出すことで、何となく理解していただけるように思います。 人間という非常に優れていると同時に愚かさも多く持っている悩み多き存在そのものを、体感を通して自覚することが今までになく直に出来るように思います。…
