a Zen monk Born in Germany in 1968. He met Zazen in high school and came to Japan to become a Buddhist artist. In 1993, he became a priest at Antai-ji Temple in Hyogo Prefecture. After working at famous temples in Kyoto and homeless training at Osaka Castle Park, he served as the chief priest of the temple from 2002 to 2020. His books include "Zen Practice of The Lost", "Hesitation is the First Step of Enlightenment" (Shincho Shinsho), "Religion Is Not Necessary for Japanese" (Best Shinsho), and "Zen Training Only To Read" (Asahi Shimbun Publishing)
